Elevate Legal Accounting was founded by Fran Michau, an Attorney and Legal Accounting Specialist with a background in international corporate law and cross-border business.
Through her experience in private practice, in-house counsel, and as Head of a multinational legal department, Fran identified a critical gap within law firms: highly skilled Attorneys were consistently pulled away from billable legal work to manage financial administration and compliance responsibilities.
At the same time, legal accounting—particularly trust account management—demands a level of precision, structure, and regulatory awareness that general bookkeeping services are not equipped to provide.
Elevate Legal Accounting was established to bridge this gap.
The firm provides specialised legal accounting and trust compliance support, designed exclusively for law firms that require accuracy, control, and confidence in their financial systems—without diverting focus from their core legal work.
